Students explore a variety of resources—texts, images, sounds, photos, and other artifacts—to learn more about the Holocaust. This week we are going to focus on student-centered inquiry. Students will explore a range of print and non-print resources through extensive online inquiry activities. This learning project will be presented in class Thursday and Friday of this week.

7th Grade
This week students will begin drafting their essay on The Pivotal Moment in the Civil Rights Movement, using the notes taken from the video, Eyes on the Prize. We will draft our thesis statement, reasons, and evidence to support. Finally, we will draft our conclusion and complete a peer editing exercise. Students will be responsible for completing the final copy this week.
